Don’t want to be in center-stage in one of SPAA’s reknowned performances but still want to add your own unique artistic touch to the production? Our “Stage Artisans” art class is the perfect place to learn about and take part in set creation, design and décor behind the scenes.

Petite Painters
Introduce your little one to the world of art through painting. Topics range from the basics of color & shape to abstract art, self portraiture & pop-art. Explore artists such as Jackson Pollock, Georgia O’Keefe, Andy Warhol & more.

Art & Yoga
Explore techniques within fine arts & yoga. Classes consist of basic yoga & shift to fine arts. Translate poses & experiences into authentic artworks. Topics vary from patterns, symbolism to abstract art. Subject matter: yoga explored throughout session.

Stage Artisans
The Fine and Performing Arts collide through set design & creation. Work alongside classmates, production directors & various supporting staff creating backdrops for SPAA performances without being center-stage.

Maturing Artists
For artists of all skill-levels, topics range from art basics to still-life, self portraiture & image reproduction. Varied media: watercolor & acrylic paint, oil pastels & colored pencil. Genres from surrealism, cubism, landscape to pop-art & more.
